The Mystery of it All….

THE MYSTERY

This marker directs you into the unknowable Mystery of your journey. It is the sacred place where all things are created but are not yet formed. It points the way to pure power and potential, which meets the magic of intention. It tells you that the magical unknowable forces of destiny and fate are working in your life. The forces that you can never fully understand or control are, indeed, weaving their magic around you to help you fulfill your true purpose. There is, however, a warning to be humble here: The Mystery reveals itself only when it chooses, and not when or how you demand. The cosmic laws operate here outside of time and space, outside of human influence and intellect. Only hindsight will reveal their patterns. Only total trust and the deepest faith can be your allies when The Mystery appears as a sacred marker on your path. Sometimes it may seem as if you’re going backward, but truly, if you look at a spiral, it goes up, back, and around, reaching upward, although it may seem for a time that you are not. You are indeed progressing. Trust the Mystery, and keep going! For now, trust that the thread of your life is woven into the pattern of the Mystery with beauty, grace, strength, and purpose. This marker is an auspicious and profound omen that shows you that you are on the correct path.

BUILDING BLOCKS

STRONG FOUNDATIONS; A BEAUTIFUL WORK IN PROGRESS.

GUIDANCE

The Oracle’s message: You have everything you need to cultivate an extraordinary life. This is a time when your focus needs to be on the foundations you build upon. Your work, your relationships, and your very being are underwritten by your values, ethics, morals, and core beliefs. Are they still true for you? Will they stand the test of time and serve as the solid grounding upon which you construct your life? Now you are making changes that will affect everything in a positive way. Your destiny is truly a remarkable and beautiful design. Relationship message: When you see this card, know that you are attracting new relationships into your life—and solidifying the ones you already have—by building them on the foundations of honesty, humility, clear communication, and a genuine desire to know one another. You are moving toward laying the groundwork for a relationship with the firm footing that will ensure it can withstand any storm. Long-standing relationships are also repaired and strengthened. You and the other person are stronger, wiser, and more powerful together than apart.Prosperity message: You have everything you need to turn iron into gold in the alchemical process of creating the prosperous life you desire. Now is the time to build on the strong foundation you have already laid for your prosperity. Keep in mind that these building blocks are imbued with the sparkling energy of your intentions. Own your dream, and remember that you always have more than enough and you always are enough, so abundance is ever present. Your creativity is Divinely inspired, and the design for your life is taking shape in service to the world. You are meant for success.

I’m going to miss you when you’re gone…

I heard this song on the radio this morning as I was running some errands….I like the way it sounds, but also the message it conveys.   I’m reminded that most everything in this world is just on loan….for a day, a week, a month, a year or longer.  It’s not up to me to say how long something is a part of this journey called life.

James Hersey – Miss You Lyrics

Show me
What it means to be yours
What it means to be more, more
What it means to be more, ah

Show me
What a difference you make
What a word that you say now could mean when it’s over, and it comes time for change

Cause I’m gonna miss you
I’m gonna miss you when you’re gone
I’m gonna miss you
I’m gonna miss you when you’re gone, ah

Show me
How to get what you give
How to let go and live, live
How to let go and live, ah

Show me
What a life this could be
What a promise you make now could mean when the day comes, that everything you see
Is without me

Cause I’m gonna miss you
I’m gonna miss you when you’re gone
I’m gonna miss you
I’m gonna miss you when you’re gone, ah

Cause I’m gonna miss you
I’m gonna miss you, ah
I’m gonna miss you
I’m gonna miss you, ah
I’m gonna miss you
I’m gonna miss you

The song also reminds me of one of my favorite chapters in the Bible: Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Life without the Book…

It would seem that my second day staying away from FB has been more difficult than the first.   Lots of those minutes of today would have been filled with scrolling on the FB news feed or posting pictures of this and that.  But it hasn’t gotten to the point where I’ve really seriously considered going back.

Last night I saw a pictures of a really awesome gas pump and instead of posting it on FB, posted it here instead.  This was a test of sorts to make sure I could indeed post pictures that I’ve taken.  I actually used the WP (WordPress) app share that picture and it’s a lot easier to do than it is with FB.

So what have I done with those minutes? A.)  I cleaned up around the house for starters,,,no, it’s still not done, but I put a big dent in it.  B.) I went to a meeting of like-minded friends and stayed afterward to talk  C.)  I went to one of my favorite haunts for lunch and saw a friend I hadn’t seen in quite a while.  D.)  I watched about an hour of television…I admittedly am not a big fan of the tube, but did find some interesting shows to watch   E.)  I took a short nap…lol  F.)  I had an appointment with my ortho doctor,,, a return visit in six weeks

Not that I wouldn’t have done any of these things if I still was a part of FB world, but I paid more attention to what was transpiring as the day went on.  I’ve also started reading more and indeed, have started reading a good devotional book that has taught or retaught me two important lessons:  A.)  The trials in our lives shouldn’t be complete surprises….they help to build our faith and make us stronger emotionally   B.)   It’s a good idea to start out one’s day with talking to God in devotion and/or prayer….I’ll have to really remember this one tomorrow morning…I’m subbing for a teacher whose class is going on a field trip…oh my!!!

All in all a pretty good second day…and there are still over seven hours left to go.
