I guess you could say this is the last thing I relearned—the hard way. I need to think over my decisions before committing to something. I tend to be a people-pleaser and will say “Yes” to something before thinking it through carefully. Then, later down the road, I felt regret for the decision that I made. Hopefully this is a lesson I don’t have to keep repeating in the future.

It took me a long time to do the same, but once you begin to do it, you may see people actually respect you more and you will feel much better about yourself!
