Aren’t I Special?

I got a letter today from The Nielson Company, wanting me to answer a few simple questions dealing mostly with my use of telecommunications. But the first thing I saw was the dollar bill that they had enclosed to entice me to return my form.

Truth be told, I would keep the dollar whether I answered and returned the survey questions. But the form letter stated that if I did return the answer form, I would be receiving five more dollars,,,I took the bait.

The letter today came addressed to “Area Household” and to receive my bonus for returning my answers, I had to provide my name and phone number. I know that’s the reason they sent the dollar, but figure it might actually be some fun.

And nothing makes me feel more special than to think someone values my opinions.
