Procrastination Time…Literally

Here we are, a full three weeks into Daylight Savings Time and there’s only one clock in the house showing the correct time. All the others, except for the clock on my computer, are still one hour behind. And for some reason, I find it hard to go through and change them.

I have to ask myself why I keep procrastinating changing all the clocks. I’m one of those people who loves clocks, so there are quite a few to be changed. I’ll also add that I have a “rule” in my house that says the clocks must have ALL the numbers on them. None of this 12, 3, 6 ,9 stuff for me. So why would someone so particular about the types of clocks not also want them showing the correct time?

So I’ve made a promise to myself today to go around and change ALL the clocks to the correct time. It will probably take no longer than ten minutes and the world will be well again. Well, there is that large clock on the wall in the living room that has a dead battery and I’ll need to carefully take it off the wall and find out what size battery it uses. But even this, I will do today.

Patient progress, not perfection….

**Note – I guess I’d better do my taxes as well…they’re less forgiving than the clocks in my house.
