The city I live in, Hickory, North Carolina, is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. At present, our city is not too large (say, like Charlotte), not too small,,,I would say just the right size.

I am involved in the recovery community and attend meetings on a weekly, sometimes daily basis. I wish I could learn to relax more each day. I tend to wake up with fearful, anxious thoughts, which can linger most of the day or be fleeting. I wish I could be at ease regardless of what’s going on in my life.

I already have two tattoos, but if I got a third, it would represent the number twenty-three. I’ve long been obsessed with the number and would like to have a creative way to express that. I could possibly combine it with one of the other tattoos I already have.
