The season of Lent, which began on February 18th, is officially over on Maundy Thursday. I have decided I will be returning to Facebook on Easter Sunday, April 5th. While I think it is no far stretch to say I could do just as well to stay away, there are some features of Facebook that I will be glad to have back. y

I have made use of my WordPress blog to write about various topics. That particular blog website does allow one to post Facebook without otherwise engaging with the website, so there was that. I didn’t end up writing as much as I thought I would, but my journal-writing definitely saw an uptick.
Another Lenten season is over and done and spring is upon us. I have made a commitment to enjoy more of “real life” and not spend as much time on social media and that is enough for me.
