If you could have something named after you, what would it be?
After spending the past 44+ years as a teacher, I guess it would be appropriate to have school named after me. Now mind you, I wouldn’t expect that to ever happen, but it does seem to fall in line with what I’m done most of my life. My paternal grandfather, who was the fire chief in our town, had the largest fire station named after him and I considered that to be a monumental testament to his legacy. I’m satisfied with former students remembering my name and recalling good times they experienced while I was their teacher. That’ll be enough for me.
