Today, Sunday April 6th has gotten off to a good start. I began the day at Starbucks for my usual vanilla latte. I went the early Kairos service at church, where I was reminded to “be curious” and not be judgmental. I then went to the “Difficult Questions” Sunday school class and am still attempting to decipher what we discussed for that hour.
I’m now at Barnes & Noble, reading and writing in my journal. I’m also utilizing my Chromebook to begin a course designed for those with ADHD and have completed the first two modules. And, of course, I’m taking a few minutes to write this blog.
This afternoon at 2:30 p.m., I’ll be attending the performance of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar.” I’ve been looking forward to attending this performance for quite some time. I used to listen to the soundtrack countless times growing up. I attended another group’s performance some twenty years ago and am much anticipating what I’ll enjoy this afternoon.
I as of yet don’t have any substitute teaching jobs lined up for the coming week, but of course, that’s subject to change – it’s the nature of the job.
So far, so good on this Sunday. It’s been a good day to have a good day and I’m thinking it will continue to be.
